High intensity Targeted Selective Photo Clearing
is now offered in a single-station unit allowing the physician to apply the precise and appropriate phototherapeutic procedure following diagnosis.
The convenient to use and fast expert system enables the physician to accurately select the optimal phototherapy for treatment of Psoriasis, Vitiligo,Atopic Dermatitis Acne and Lukoderma. (FDA Cleared).
Outside the USA the UVA1 mode offers the possibilty to treat additional indications such as; Localized Scleroderma, Keloids. The blue mode offers the possibility to treat Actinic Keratosis(Blue Light PDT).
With the MultiClear™, the physician accurately and automatically selects the wavelengths proven to be the most effective and safe for treatment. It is an advanced expert system for management of phototherapy right at your fingertips.
Why MultiClear ?
l A single unit emitting the exact wavelengths of light at the most effective intensity for safe phototherapy of multiple common skin disorders.
l Technology endorsed and used by leading dermatologists in major universities and clinics across five continents, for all skin types.
l Emits the narrowest effective wavelengths of narrow band targeted UVB,UVA1 and intense blue light without affecting the surrounding healthy tissues.
l Optimal solution for a multitude of conditions it enables a fast return on investment with low maintenance costs.
l Developed and produced by CureLight, world pioneers and leaders in Phototherapy with the Selective Photo Clearing (SPC™) proprietary technology.
How it works ?
The MultiClear selects the 295-315nm wavelengths for the treatment of Psoriasis and Vitiligo, the 360-370nm wavelengths for the treatment of atopic Dermatitis, Localized Scleroderma and Keloids, and the 405-450nm wavelengths for the treatment of Actinic Keratosis with blue light PDT. (Blue Light mode - Not for sale in the USA).
The different wavelengths of light are produced using proprietary high-power plasma light source. The type of gas mixture in the light source, combined with computerized active and passive filtration, determines the emitted wavelengths.
Using special couplers and optical fibers, areas as large as 23X23mm can be treated within seconds without affecting the surrounding healthy tissues.
The integrated computerized expert touch-screen control ensures that phototherapy is exact for each condition, making handling of the system fast, easy and convenient.
Proven clinical results
Targeted UVB has shown to be effective in the treatment of Psoriasis and Vitiligo.
In psoriasis, narrow band UVB has been shown to affect both proliferating keratinocytes, reducing their excessive hyperproliferation and lesional lymphocytes decreasing tissue inflammation.
In Vitiligo, targeted narrow band UVB has shown to be effective and considerably faster than PUVA in the repigmentation of a-pigmented areas.
MultiClear’s targeted UVA mode is specially tuned
to be used for medium and high dose UVA1 phototherapy of atopic dermatitis, hypopigmented scars, striae gravidarum, morphea, keloids, topical PUVA and UVA phototesting.
Being a single unit for treatment of patients with different skin disorders, the MultiClear saves the initial investment required for purchasing a number of different apparatuses (and later their maintenance).
